Frequently asked questions
How do I apply to become a speaker?
If you want to give a talk at PHDays Fest, register on the website and submit an application as a speaker.
Include the following in your application:
- Description of your talk: what it is about, why this topic is important, and what unique ideas or insights you want to share.
- Supporting materials: anything that will help us understand the relevance of your topic—for example, a presentation, abstract, prototypes, or software tools.
- A few words about yourself, your achievements and experience, and why you are the best person to cover this topic.
If you have publications on this topic, share the links. If there are similar works by other authors, add references and explain how your perspective differs from theirs.
Important considerations
We value comprehensive, well-delivered talks that bring fresh ideas.
To keep the festival program high-quality and useful, speakers must not:
- Promote products or vendors
- Use someone else’s materials without crediting the authors
- Provide unverified or falsified information
Who can apply?
Anyone can apply as a speaker but only personally, not through PR representatives or other mediators. You may submit several applications on different topics.
When will my application be reviewed?
We are accepting proposals until February 24, 2027. We'll contact all applicants before March 10, 2027 to inform them about the committee's decision (even if the proposed topic didn't fit into the program).
