Who can apply?
Anyone can apply as a speaker but only personally, not through PR representatives or other mediators. You may submit several applications on different topics.
2.
How do I apply?
To submit an application, click "Become a PHDays speaker" at the top of this page and provide the following information about yourself:
- First and last name
- City and country
- Company name and job title
- A few words about yourself, your job experience and achievements, and the topic of your talk
You can also attach an abstract of your talk, a presentation, illustrations, utilities, and any other materials that will help us to understand the contents and relevance of your talk better.
Please also provide the following (if applicable):
- If your research has been published, include a link to the publication.
- If other authors have publications on a similar topic, add links to them and tell us how your view on the issue is different from theirs.
- Let us know if you don't want the whole text of your research to be disclosed.
3.
What should not be in the talk?
We care about the quality of the content at the PHDays festival and want it to be as useful and interesting for the audience as possible. For this reason, talks must not include:
- Product placement and vendor advertisements
- Use of copied materials without a copyright disclaimer
- Unverified or falsified data
4.
When will my application be reviewed?
We are accepting applications until April 1, 2024, and will announce the list of speakers on April 15.
